Boarding Accommodation
Marshaland Cattery specialises in boarding up to four cats from the same household in one spacious family suite.
Cats from different households are never mixed within the same accommodation.
Keeping family cats together helps them remain settled and relaxed throughout their stay.
Duration of Stay
Boarding is charged on a daily basis, including the day of arrival and the day of departure.
A minimum stay may apply during school holidays, bank holidays and other peak periods.
Extensions to your booking are subject to availability.
Early collection does not qualify for a refund for unused boarding days.
Arrival & Collection Times
To provide the best possible care for all our guests, arrivals and collections are by appointment only during the following times:
Monday – Saturday
9:00 am – 11:00 am
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Sundays & Bank Holidays

Please contact us as soon as possible if you are delayed.
Vaccinations
All cats must have an up-to-date vaccination certificate against Feline Infectious Enteritis and Cat Flu.
Vaccinations must have been completed at least 14 days before boarding.
Unfortunately, cats without a valid vaccination record cannot be accepted.
Health & Welfare
Cats must arrive in good health and be free from infectious diseases, fleas and other parasites.
Owners must inform us of any existing medical conditions, allergies or medication requirements before boarding.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of illness.
Veterinary Care
Should your cat become ill during their stay, every effort will be made to contact you immediately.
If veterinary treatment is necessary, we will contact your nominated veterinary practice where possible, or our own veterinary surgeon if required.
Any veterinary fees incurred during boarding are the responsibility of the owner.
Food & Medication
Quality food is provided unless your cat requires a specialist diet, in which case owners are asked to supply sufficient food for the duration of the stay.
Medication will be administered in accordance with your written instructions, provided it is clearly labelled.
Personal Belongings
Owners are welcome to provide familiar bedding, blankets or toys to help their cat settle. Whilst every care is taken, these items remain the owner's responsibility.
Cancellations
Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your booking.
The 25% booking deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the arrival date may be charged up to the full boarding fee if the accommodation cannot be re-booked.
Failure to arrive without notice may result in the full boarding fee being payable.
Liability
Every care is taken to provide a safe, secure and comfortable environment for all cats entrusted to us. While every reasonable precaution is taken, Marshaland Cattery cannot accept responsibility for illness, injury, loss or death resulting from pre-existing conditions, age-related illness, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Emergency Contact
Owners must provide at least one emergency contact who is authorised to make decisions on their behalf should they be unavailable.
